Corris Railway (Northern portion)
The text below is for a set of six sheets, which have been sold.
We do however have photocopies of all the sheets except sheet 42.7 for Upper Corris. The photocopies for two of the sheets are full sheets, with the other three sheets being photocopies of that half of the sheet showing the railway detail.

Six sheets at 1:2500 (25" to one mile) showing the northern portion of the Corris Railway. From just south of Esgair-geiliog to Upper Corris and Aberllefenni.
This is the most detailed scale that the Ordnance Survey issued for this area.
All Second Edition of 1901, paper flat, roughly 2' by 3', uncoloured in good overall condition.
The sheets are arranged in a column with 42.16 at the bottom, 42.12 above, 42.8 above 42.12, and 42.4 above 42.8. Sheet 42.7 lies to the left of 42.8. Sheet 43.1 lies to the right of 42.4.

Rhiw'r-gwreiddyn Slate Works. line continues south to Machynlleth. Good clean condition.
42.12 Corris and the junction at Bryn-llwyd, with the tramway going to Braich-goch-Slate Quarry. Light annotations. Good clean condition.
42.8 Abercwmeiddaw Slate Quarry and Incline, Upper Corris, Abercorris Slate Quarry, Pandy, Garnedd-wen Station, Mathew's Mill and branch to mill. Light annotations. Good condition.
42.4 Aberllefenni Slate Quarry, Incline and levels. Light annotations, repaired. Good condition.
42.7 End of tramway at Upper Corris. Cwm-dylluan Slate Quarry and short isolated tramway. Light annotations. Good clean condition.
43.1 Cymeran Quarry, Aberllefenni, Aberllefenni Slate Quarry. Light annotations and light stains. Repaired. Sound.
