The first of the fourteen appendices is 610 pages long and reports on the visit of the Commission to the USA to gather evidence. The New York City subway, street railways and elevated railways are considered in depth, with numerous maps and diagrams plus photographs. The Boston subway is also detailed. Other appendices cover visits to European cities, the regulation of traffic in London and a history of traffic in London. Internally good clean condition, slightly dusty at some edges, but overall a bright clean copy. Cover clean but scuffed with a few light stains. Over four inches thick, larger than A4 size. 1906.
