Fifth Relief Edition : flat sheets

Fifth Relief Edition
Considered by many to be the most beautiful coloured maps ever produced by the Ordnance Survey, these maps did not catch the imagination of the general public and were published at a very slow speed. Only twenty two numbered sheets were published plus several district and tourist sheets. A non-relief version was adopted in 1934 but this series was never published in full.

We have a set of the twenty two numbered sheets, plus Aldershot North, Aldershot South and Dartmoor. All are paper flat with a centre fold. All are in good or better condition. Some have come from university teaching sets and have very small ink marks or pencil annotations, small chips to the margins, some creasing or dusty margins. Many are in nice clean condition, and overall I would class the set as good/good plus, having selected the best example of each sheet where a choice exists.

See Fifth Relief Edition for a list of sheets and publication dates.

£190 the set, including postage

Individual sheets
We also have a good selection of individual sheets (but not all), paper folded, in varying condition at £6-£8 each plus postage at cost. Please ask for details of Fifth and Fifth Relief maps folded in covers. Please see the above link for sheet numbers and titles.
